American Warhorse starring Miss Helen coming 2020

American Warhorse is the story of the men who took the North American P-51 Mustang to war. This feature documentary is a collaboration between noted aviation photographer John Dibbs and Warbird Digest publisher Tim Savage. The team has travelled the United States capturing the raw emotion of surviving P-51 pilots, some who are telling their story for the very first time. Their poignant memories will be accompanied by stunning air-to-air sequences using the latest in camera technology. The film is scheduled for release in the fall of 2020.

Miss Helen part of Daks over Normandy 75th D-Day commemoration

Miss Helen joined in the 75th anniversary celebrations for Operation Overlord, better known now as D-Day with a massed fly-over along the beachheads and landing zones of Normandy, France where the June 6th, 1944 invasion took place. A fleet of WWII transport aircraft, predominantly Douglas C-47s (along with Dakotas a DC-3 and a C-53) and aircraft of the modern military forces of both France and the United States formed the aerial armada, which also paid their respects to the dead, with a trip past WWII cemeteries along the route.
