"As a Producer and Director on aviation films you are forever encountering challenges. What you look for in an associate is someone who can meet those challenges and resolve them without drama or creating stress. James Lovett is that person. Professional, knowledgeable and flexible to get the job done. His experience shines through. I wholeheartedly recommend him and look forward to the next project where we work together.”
American Warhorse is the story of the men who took the North American P-51 Mustang to war. This feature documentary is a collaboration between noted aviation photographer John Dibbs and Warbird Digest publisher Tim Savage. The team has travelled the United States capturing the raw emotion of surviving P-51 pilots, some who are telling their story for the very first time. Their poignant memories will be accompanied by stunning air-to-air sequences using the latest in camera technology. The film is scheduled for release in the fall of 2020.
